That's an European Lionbird (Europäisches Löwenvögelchen). You see the rare pictures of a full-grown male with his majestic blue/red mane. Only males wear a mane. Females are only brown with black spots/stripes, because they need camouflage during breeding season.
The Lionbird has the size of a rat and eats insects, mice, little birds and lizards - actually everything they could catch and kill. The males sing like thrushs and are very aggressive when it comes to protect their district. When two males fight then often one of them gets killed.
That's my third art doll and this time a little griffon. He is made of fake fur and real fur. The wings are made of real feathers, which was not that easy because a real wing has different kind of feathers. I think the next time I will use felt

Ja, das habe ich tatsächlich schon gedacht. Aber die Dinger sidn aufwändig in der "Produktion" und deswegen wären sie sehr teuer. Keine Ahnung, ob jemand für so ein Viech 200 Tacken ausgeben möchte. Und ja, das wäre mein Preis.
Ich habe mir auch schon gedacht, Zinnfigürchen zu verkaufen. Die sehen nett aus, geben was her und wären nicht so teuer.
